Heiress heads to jail a day and a half early, mere hours after attending MTV Movie Awards.

Mere hours after Paris Hilton stole much of the attention at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night, the heiress’ attorney announced shortly after 11 p.m. PT that Hilton had turned herself in to authorities to begin serving her 23-day jail sentence.

“I am ready to face the consequences of violating probation,” Hilton said in the statement. “During the past few weeks I have had a lot of time to think and have come to realize I made some mistakes. This is an important point in my life and I need to take responsibility for my actions. In the future, I plan on taking more of an active role in the decisions I make. I want to thank my family, friends and fans for their continued support. Although I am scared, I am ready to begin my jail sentence.”

Alright, the blond Hilton Hotel Heiress will have to finally get punished for once in her life. Don’t get me wrong, I think Paris is a remarkable girl who definitely knows how to market herself well. In my opinion she is smartest from the circle of Britney, Lindsey, Jessica, & Mischa…..

Paris fans are going crazy. She will be missed by some for a month while she does her sentence, but i don’t feel bad for her since all this publicity for her going to jail is making her loads of $$$$$… And when she gets out she will have even more cash, book offers, clothing, and more accessory deals waiting for her.
