Neil Strauss, also known as Style in the seduction and the pickup artist community in case you didn’t know, is the author of the best-selling book ‘The Game: Penetrating The Secret Society Of Pickup Artists’. ‘The Game’ is a true to life rags to riches story of how Neil Strauss transformed his life from an AFC (Average Frustrated Chump) to a Seduction guru and master of the pickup artist.

Neil Strauss begins his journey as a NY Times writer who already has lavished in the rock and roll celebrity lifestyle having interviewed and written stories about the likes of Marlin Manson and Britney Spears. However even with his pop culture success, he still he finds himself unsuccessful with women whatsoever. After stumbling across a book one of his agents ask him to research on how to pick up women called “The Layguide” by Tony Clink he soon becomes obsessed with this new found seduction material. Strauss soon surpasses all the other students in Mystery’s class and Mystery notices that Neil has a desire and very strong will power to succeed in order to pick up women. During a years time period Strauss (style) perfected his ability to pick up women. He is now seen as a master in the pickup artist community, with many women at his disposal and a man whom many men confide in. Soon Strauss unites with Mystery and the powerhouse duo begins to teach their boot camps together to AFC’s and other men who simply can’t pick up women whatsoever.

Imagine this if you will, a mansion in the Hollywood hills whereby a group of the greatest pickup artist of our time resides. Sounds like a plotline for a great book huh? One can only speculate of the things that transpired there. Neil Strauss eventually moves from New York to Hollywood, California to live in such a mansion called “Project Hollywood.” He starts training groups of guys along side of Mystery from the Mystery Method. He is actually living with another group of pickup artist who eventually start their own company called “Real Social Dynamics” (RSD). This new company created by two guys also in his book “The Game,” Tyler Durden and Papa. Many other established pickup artist mentioned in the book are Mystery, David DeAngelo, Tyler Durden, Hypnotica, Steve P, Rick H, Herbal, Ross Jeffries, Lance Mason, Swingcat and many more.

Soon after project Hollywood gets hectic and total chaos makes everyone fight and they leave the house. Even with the home cooking of Courtney Love. Mystery and Neil Strauss remain friends but they both move to different locations. The powerhouse duo separates and Mystery devises a new business plan and finds a new partner to help while he continues traveling to different cities with the title of the world’s greatest pickup artist. The Pickup Artist now speaks in seminars and help’s men pick up women all across the globe.

Meanwhile Neil Strauss continues to strengthen his game and his pickup artist skills, while seeking out all different kinds of mentors specializing in all different areas of the game. Not to mention the constant calamites of being a hot pickup artist on the make in movie capital of the world.

Neil Strauss writes his New York Times bestseller book titled ‘The Game.’ It becomes an instant must read for the whole seduction community of pickup gurus and the pickup artist. Strauss becomes a celebrity in the self-help and seduction world. He even dates Lisa Leveridge, guitarist of Courtney Love’s band The Chelsea. He appears at many book signings and other pickup artist related seminars and is a guest speaker at many of these events. And some say the pickup artist stuff doesn’t work.

After about a year Neil Strauss develops his own pickup artist method called ‘The Annihilation Method’ which was intended for only for the 5 students who paid top dollar to be trained by Neil Strauss himself at his Hollywood hills estate. Several months later Strauss announces that he will sell his video taped program of the Annihilation Method to only 375 people for $4,000. Most of the pickup artist today have by now seen a copy of someone’s Annihilation method or heard about it through the grape vine.

Neil Strauss in my opinion is one of the best of the pickup artist and has given the seduction community much value and needed technique. He will probably go down as one of the grandfathers of the pickup artist community one day. For now he is still a great author working on more books and he has now started his own training school for guys who want to advance there skills no matter what level they are currently at.
